Hi I'm Catherine, the proud owner of The Refillery Canterbury. The issue of environmentally conscious consumerism is as urgent and important a cause as it gets, and as a family we’ve been challenging ourselves to reduce our own plastic rubbish, but also learn more about the complex technical, economic and logistical challenges around eradicating plastics. With a lack of convenient options in the area and at a junction in my own career, I came across The Refilley franchise and felt the concept and brand was on-point for Canterbury.
We need to be optimistic about the future and our ability to change our relationship with single use plastic. As a community we can support each other on the journey to a minimal waste lifestyle.
